Sortera’s Exhibition Truck: A New Way to Connect and Create
Sortera’s exhibition truck brings people together at community events, hosting art activities, games, and music. It also serves as a training space for staff. The truck is a key part of Sortera’s commitment to fostering creativity, learning, and community engagement.
At Sortera, we take immense pride in supporting the communities where we live and work. As part of our ongoing efforts to give back and foster creativity, we introduced our innovative exhibition truck—a multi-functional mobile space designed to bring people together. Since its launch, the vehicle has become a centrepiece of various community events, serving as an arts hub, a classroom, and even a DJ booth, adding a unique dimension to each event it attends.
A Creative Debut at the Markfield Road Festival
The exhibition truck made its grand debut in September 2024 at the lively Markfield Road Festival. This festival was the perfect platform to showcase the truck's versatility. It was transformed into a creative haven for children, who were invited to participate in an engaging watercolour art activity. Equipped with paints, brushes, and guidance, children unleashed their imaginations on paper, creating colourful masterpieces.
In addition to the art activities, the truck hosted games that were fun for all ages, featuring exciting prize opportunities.
A Vibrant Presence at the Neighbourhood Green & Healthy Living Festival
Following its debut, the exhibition truck made its way to the Neighbourhood Green & Healthy Living Festival held at Down Lane Park in Tottenham. This event was organised in collaboration with Sortera’s valued client, Formation Design & Build, and offered an exciting opportunity to engage with a broader audience.
For this occasion, the truck transformed into a lively DJ booth, providing the musical heartbeat to the festival. The music vehicle drew festival-goers together in a celebration of community and health-focused initiatives. Attendees of all ages enjoyed the festivities, proving once again that the exhibition truck was more than just a structure—it was a catalyst for community enjoyment and togetherness.
A Quiet Retreat for Learning and Growth
Beyond public events, the exhibition truck also demonstrated its versatility by serving as a serene, classroom-style space for Sortera’s staff training programs. The quiet environment, free from the usual distractions of a bustling worksite or office, allowed team members to focus entirely on professional development. These training sessions not only enhanced individual skills but also strengthened the team’s collective efficiency, reinforcing Sortera’s commitment to fostering growth within the organization.
