Founded in 2006

Recycling in focus since 2006

Sortera’s customers have always been the key to our development. Our early involvement in customer projects helps to streamline waste management flows and logistics. By collaborating with actors throughout the value chain, we develop solutions for more sustainable and circular material flows.

Employees

Committed employees in several countries

Sortera expanded from Stockholm to Gothenburg and Malmö, and entered Finland in 2020. In 2022, we entered the UK market through an acquisition, quickly becoming the largest specialist Construction Waste Management company in London. The number of our committed employees is growing as we continue our journey of expansion.

Broad offer

Broadened customer offering

We have continuously broadened our customer offering and in 2019 Sortera acquired the company Envytech, which is specialised in water treatment for the construction and civil engineering sector. Today, we can offer comprehensive solutions for small and medium-sized companies in construction and civil engineering, industry and logistics.

Exporting our business model

Expanding through acquisitions is an important part of Sortera’s growth journey. Since the company was founded in 2006, over 20 companies have been acquired with the aim of strengthening Sortera's geographical presence and customer offering. In this way, we export our customer offering in sustainable construction and circular economy to other markets.
