Two people standing at the end of a circled tunnel

About Sortera

Waste as a resource

As a specialist in construction materials, we work to transform waste into valuable resources through reuse, recycling and energy recovery. By applying a sustainable and practical approach, we help reduce the environmental footprint of the construction sector and support more circular material flows across the industry.

Sortera plays an active role in the transition towards a more circular economy.

Circular material flows – waste as a resource

At Sortera, we view waste as a resource. Our focus is on creating clean and circular material flows by increasing the proportion of materials that can be reused or recycled.

Our ambition is to contribute to the transition to a more circular economy by reducing our own climate impact and supporting our customers in reducing theirs. We aim to be a long-term, knowledgeable and reliable partner throughout this transition.

Profitable growth and expansion into new markets

Sortera’s strategy is centred on sustainable growth and on strengthening our position as a leading provider of circular solutions in Northern Europe. Expansion, including growth through acquisitions, is an important part of this strategy.

Since 2006, we have completed more than 20 acquisitions, enabling us to expand geographically and broaden our service offering to customers.
